Stateland Cafe

Hello there everyone! I'm finally back to update this space of mine. If you guys have read my previous posts and followed me on my Instagram, you guys would have know that I've went to Korea for the past 1 week. As I'm writing this phrase, my heart aches, because I'm really missing the good food, the people and not forgetting the carefree life over there. Coming back to Singapore is like a wake up call. Calling me to wake up and get back to reality.



Okay, nuff said! This post will be on another cafe that I've visited a few days before I fly over to Korea. Visited Stateland Cafe with my group mates (School/Poly) after our last paper.



Located at Bali Lane which is right beside Haji Lane, the cafe is just a stone throw away form the sign board you see over there. Just follow the sign and walk towards the alley and you'll be able to see Stateland Cafe.







Initially we were told to wait outside as they're only open from 12pm (we reached around 11.50am++), few minutes past 12 and no one attended us, so our fierce Nicole went to ask them whether can we go in already because all of us are perspiring like maaaaaaad! And yes, finally we're allowed to go in, only after Nicole asked the person. TSK!





TBH! I find their menu abit limited uhh! Like there's only THAT much stuff we can order, so Audrey, Nicole and I ended up ordering the same thing. Eggs Benedict, Aaron and ML ordered Carbonara, and Garey ordered some waffles thingy.







Aaron, Audrey and Nicole wanted to try more of their stuff, so the 3 of them ordered and shared a Red Velvet Waffle with Vanilla Ice Cream.



Overall I find that the place is worth visiting once, for the ambiance and such. The food wise is just so so only. But the food is not that bad la. You guys can still pay this cafe a visit. :)

Other than what I've said, their service is actually quite good. One of the service stuff actually offered to change for us another bottle of water. So kudos for that.

Price of the food range from $10 - $30, and they only accept cash, no nets/credit cards/debit cards. So do take note.

I'M FLYING TO KOREA!!!

Hello everyone!!! I'm finally done with my exams and I'm probably at the airport now or maybe on my way there already!! As you guys have hears about me rambling about my trip. YES! I'M FLYING TO KOREA IN A FEW HOURS!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!



Throughout the whole process it's been tough. I still remember I had to deal with the "kind of slow" service from Scoot customer service. But everything is going smoothly now. Going back when I just won myself a trip for 2 to Korea at the finale of Kpop Starhunt 3! Hahahah! What a surprise!!!



Months have passed and I'm finally flying over there!!! Kudos to Andy for doing all the planning and stuff! He's super good at all the planning. Just like my Taiwan trip last year, my kind friend did all the planning and stuff and all I did was just camwhore and shop! LOLOLOLOLOL!!!

This trip, I'll be going to some of the main attractions such as Lotte World, Everland, Trick Eye Museum, Seoul Tower, and many more!!! For our accommodation, we're staying at Seoul Tower Hostel, which I'll go into further details after I'm back from the trip. Hahaha!!









Total damage for the air fare, accommodation etc is about $360 (Air Fare) + $422 (Accommodation) for 2 person la, so you just divide it by 2 and that's how much each of us paid for.

I won the return trip for 2 during the finale of Kpop Starhunt 3, that explains why the ticket is so cheap. But eventhough it stated a free return trip ticket, you'll still need to pay for the air tax and stuff. But still, its worth it la!!! Cuz I checked the prices for the air tickets to Korea, each person is around $500 - $700 leh!!! Siao!!!


Here's where we'll be staying for our entire trip. I tried googling for the photos but the rest of the photos are all very small. So yeap! I'm super duper excited for my trip already, can't wait to share my experience with you guys!

Cousins Annual Picnic

Le *Cousins* Annual Picnic!!! I remembered there were some years that I didn't join them, but this year I told myself to go since I've missed out quite a few years of it already. (I Think)

So each of us were given something to bring according to what we want. I didn't know what to bring, so therefore I decided to chip in with JingLong to buy KFC for the picnic.

Reached Marina Barrage, and there were tons of food over there! KFC, Fondue, Sausage, Seaweed Chicken, Chewy Junior, Potato Chips, Fruits and many more!!! Gosh!!! Every year they will have a lot of food without fail one!!! Hahaha!!!





Actually, we didn't do a lot over at barrage, just chat and took photos only. I guess when we're older, we tend to do what old people like to do. Sit down and just chill. Hahaha!

#SLUTREDZ

We had a really long day. Picnic in the afternoon, then dessert over at Bugis, and Fishing at Punggol area which I don't know where it is laaaa!

Thank god we have Jiaqi, Kaizhi and Meldric who drives, cuz without them, it's abit inconvenient to get anywhere. Hahaha!

Now this is quite a short post. Ending with a group selfie! Kudos to Andy's selfie stick! Hahaha!
