Korea 19' Day 1: Arriving @ Seoul
It has been a week or two since I am back from Korea, And the post-withdrawal syndrome is so real. Thus, I have decided to stop procrastinating and start writing this travel post before I get all lazy and forget the details about this trip of mine.

Korea 2016 Day 5

Okay. Hello everyone. As you can see this post is slightly different from the rest. I've decided to try doing a pictorial kinda post for my Korea 2016 Day 5 instead of the usual travelogue-ish kind.
So yea. Woke up kinda late cuz my friend left my apartment at around 6am?!?! and I need to get my mandatory 8 hours of sleep. Hahah!!!
I was kinda lost cuz my friends have all went back to Singapore already and so I'm left all alone in Korea. The feeling kinda sucks though. So my plan was to give Common Ground a visit cuz its like a must visit place when you're in Korea, right?!?!?!
XXX
When I was onboard the train, it started pouring and it really dampens my mood even more luh!!! So when I alighted I make my way to where Common Ground is located at start taking pictures of the place. From the exterior it looks really cool. Like those blue containers surrounding the place. Furthermore, Common Ground was also featured in one of SISTARS MV --- Shake It.
After I'm done exploring the place, I am clueless of where to go, so I went to Gangnam to continue where I left off the previous time. To my disappointment, the rain got heavier as I reached Gangnam and all I could do is to have my lunch there and thats it. Pretty wasted though.
As much as I don't wanna waste the entire day, I went to somewhere nearer to my apartment -- Myeong Dong to do some shopping. It didn't rain over there and weather was pretty cooling. Spent over $100 at Nature's Republic and I totally didn't expect that to happen.
After I'm done shopping I went back to my apartment and bought fried chicken and YouTube-d for the rest of the night. It's pretty boring if I were to say for my Day 5 cuz I'm a slight sad that my friends weren't there with me anymore. But do keep a look out for Day 6 cuz I did alot more things. Hahaha! Stay tuned.

Korea 2016 - Day 2
Welcome back. So for day 2, I woke up wondering where should I go cuz apparently, I got no where to go. Hahahaha!!!
So one of my objective of this trip is to eat Isaac Toast, which of course I went back to where I had it at Myeong Dong. I took the subway from my place to Myeong Dong train station, figured out my way there then to realise that ITS NOT OPEN! So ended up, I had to make do with the egg tart from the street stalls. 1 for ₩1,000.

With much googling and some navigating skills, I managed to find Isaac Toast (the one where you can dine in). If I'm not wrong, Hongdae has got 2 Isaac Toast outlet, one of it is the take out kind and another was the one I went. Situated right opposite Hongik University, its located at the side where its actually quite hard to see. You really have to keep your eyes peeled for the ISAAC TOAST sign.

I feel that the taste of it was different as compared to what I had it 2 years ago. LOL! This one they added more "chapalang" stuff, which I don't really like la. But their egg still has corns in it and that melted cheese and sugar coated toast.
After spending quite some time at the cafe, I loitered around Hongdae for quite awhile and found myself to some kpop performance. Not sure who they are but apparently they have girl fan girl-ing over them.

Since I still have lots of time and I didn't know where to go, I decided to head off to Gangnam to see how its like. Cuz from what I've heard, its the place where all the rich and famous go. By that, I mean celebrities!!! YES!! YOU CAN GET TO SEE KOREAN CELEBRITIES THERE!!! So why not right?!?!?!

While I was walking, I stopped. Stepped into SPAO and that is when I went crazy. LOL! If you got follow me on snapchat you would have know. Hahaha! But later you'll see. I ended up spending around ₩70,000 inside. Hahaha! #Regrets. Shouldn't have went in...

After shopping at SPAO, my friend contacted me and asked me if I wanna have dinner with him.
Looking at the fact I got no one to eat with, and I haven't taken my OOTD, I agreed without any hesitations. HAHAHAHAHA!!!
I met up with him at the station where his apartment is located at (Sinseoldong). Literally NO ONE lives there. LOLOL!!! The station is peaceful af....
So after meeting up with him, he decides on the place to eat and its at DongDaeMun. Its some boiled chicken place, and apparently its quite famous.

For those who have been to Korea, not sure if you've realised. But most of the good "makan" places are usually found in allies or "hidden" allies. Like you have to deliberately hunt for it in order to ENJOY it. Urghhh! *SHRUGS*

There was quite a lot of people there and lucky us, just as we arrived there are people leaving already. So yeap. Lady luck is on our side. :)

So anyways, the restaurant aunty speaks Chinese. So you can just open converse in Chinese with the people there. (If you're okay with them assuming you're from China then yea, go ahead.)
The aunty help us mixed the spices together and DAYUM IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME!!! My friend and I literally ate the spices like FREE! Hahaha! No kidding. So the aunty saw us enjoying the spice so much she just casually say; 中国没有这个对吧? It means China don't have this kind of spices right?!?! My friend and I just smiled and continued to devour the food. LOLOLOL!!!
So yeap. That sums up my day 2 of my Korea trip. Hope you guys enjoyed reading it. Stay tuned for the next post. :)
By the way. Here is the video that I've edited using iMovie. Its made up of some of the clips I've taken down and most of the snaps that I've saved from my Snapchat. :)

Seoul, Korea 2016
Hello there. It has been 2 days since I came back from my Korea trip. If you guys have been following me on my snapchat you would have seen how crazy I am over there. Hahaha! Go add me if you haven't. ID is donxkoh. GO GO!!!
So anyways, this time round I took more videos than photos to be honest cuz I wanna show more. Like you see video can tell more stories with photos IMO. So yeap. I'm still in the midst of editing the videos, and I can't wait cuz it'll be my first time using iMovie and I kinda like the quality of it.
Without further ado, here's the prologue of my Korea 2016 trip. Hahaha. Its like pretty scrapbook-ish kinda post so hope you guys don't mind. I just wanna try something new for a change. :)

So yeap. Till the next post. Hahah
P/S: I just realised I haven't finish updating my Taiwan 2015 Trip. LOLOL!!!

Taiwan 2015 - Day 5

I know I've been dragging this travelogue for ages and I think its almost a year already. Hahaha!!! Anyways, I'm finally done editing the photos and so here's day 5 of my Taiwan 2015 trip.
Because we have 5 people living under one small room, we had to maximise the amount of space we have. Take a look at how we dry our clothes. LOL! We literally just used the hangers and hang in it on top of our beds. Haha!

It was kinda chilly on day 5, so we all layered ourselves with the clothes we have. Itinerary for that day was to visit September Cafe in the afternoon and then 師大夜市 (Shida Night Market) at night to eat till we drop.

We settled our breakfast at some local cafe.

After having our breakfast, we went around XiMenDing to shop a little bit. I think we walked around the shoe section the longest. LOL!

We didn't make any purchase at that point of time cuz we still wanna keep our choices wide open at other places. So after that, we took the train to ZhongXiao FuXing station.

It was quite a long walk to September Cafe. But nevertheless we managed to find our way there. We ordered a few desserts and drinks because we plan to eat till we drop at 師大夜市 (Shida Night Market).

Nua a little bit and soon we're off to 師大夜市 (Shida Night Market).

In the end, we didn't really eat a lot leh. Like not much stuff also. But I had their choco banana crepe, "Orh Jian" and some egg rice. We went back to XiMenDing and bought MeeSua for supper. LOL!!!

To be honest, the time and money is mostly spent on traveling lor I feel. Like a lot of time was wasted on walking to the place and changing of trains from stations to stations. But nevertheless, traveling with friends is always fun luh.
