And Its Another Year

I know it's already the second week of January and we are just weeks away till the Chinese New Year and I am still here writing a sum up of my 2018.

2018 was filled with ups and downs, I still vividly remember how broke I was and out trying to seek for jobs. Adulthood soon strikes and I had responsibilities piling over my shoulders.

I too never had the chance to travel much as I was still trying to settle down and being financially stable. But 2019 is definitely a year to look forward to with plenty of events and travel dates! Typing it already makes me excited!!!

To be honest, I do not know how to start this summary going. One, there isn't much happenings in 2018 that is worth highlighting. The one and only highlight is probably me securing a full-time job. Maybe also eating salad for a month. Haha.

Family
Early half of last year, my family minus my eldest sis went on a short family getaway to Batam.  We had loads of fun with the Go-Kart and feasting on cheap and yummy food.

Back in April, my family and I received a rather upsetting news, My uncle whom my dad was extremely close to fell and hit on his head, somehow his condition worsens and is announced brain dead a few hours later. It came as a shock to my family, my dad especially. It took a toll on him to realize that his brother is no longer with us, and it really saddens me and family. Months have passed, my dad has finally gotten over and moved on. But I believe he still misses his dear brother eventually.

In 2019, I hope to bring my family closer and spend more time with them. Like every year, I hope to be able to travel together as one family to another country. :)

Friends
As much as I have been trying. Maintaining a relationship is a two-way thing. Guilty as charged, I admit that I have not been concerned about some of my friends as much as I did before. There are some that I still keep in contact, and there are some that I have lost touch with. For 2019, I hope to socialize more with my friends, and also hopefully catch up with those that I have not met for years.

Travel
Like I've said, 2018 was a really boring year. I was broke from late 2017 to early 2018, that explains the only place I could go was to Batam, and probably JB for the weekends. I lost count the number of times I have crossed the boarders over to Malaysia. For birthday celebrations, staycation and many more. LOL! Highly recommended if you're budget constraint but still wanna live life like a boss. I aim to travel at the end of 2019 to celebrate Christmas and New Year overseas, and hopefully witness a snowfall cause I have NEVER seen one before. :(

Life
There you have it, my 2018. Pretty boring. And sad. But there are little bits of things that are worth mentioning such as me being dedicated enough to go for a run at least twice a week. Trying out a salad meal for lunch for 1 month, converting myself to drink Black Coffee instead of Coffee with added milk and Sugar. Planning a double birthday celebration in JB for my poly year 3 classmates. And of course, landing myself a full-time job which I'm pretty much enjoying now. :)

And I used to dissed some crazy fan boys/girls for going gaga over their KPOP idol, now I fully understand because I found myself to have developed a craze for BTS. LOL! I even bought their merch at their online store. CALL ME CRAZY! This is something that I would have never thought I would do. Furthermore, I will be going to their concert happening in Singapore in 2 weeks time! My friends called me crazy for spending close to $300 just for their concert ticket! But I chose to think otherwise. I have slogged my life working and I ought to reward myself right?!?! Anyways, I am super excited for what's coming in 2019! And I believe it's going to be a great year.
