ANTM Cycle 22 Top 14

Hi there. It has been a long long time since I last blogged. For today's post, it will not be on my Taiwan travelogue nor my daily ramblings. In fact, it will be on... America's Next Top Model Cycle 22!!! YES! YOU HEAR ME!!!! *Put your hands up*!!!



America's Next Top Model is back with another cycle of Boys VS Girls! There will be more competition, and it will get even more fiercer this cycle. Now here's your top 14 for ANTM Cycle 22.



Who are you rooting for? After going through the profiles of the final 14. Here are my favorite picks.

Justin Kim

The only Asian in this competition, and the only guy Asian that has made it to the top 14 of ANTM, considering the fact that the boys and girls cycle has only been going for 2 cycles so far.

Michael Heverly (Mckey)

Don't you think he resembles a bit like Phil from Cycle 20??? Hahah! I think its just the long hair thing. I wonder what kind of makeover is Tyra gonna give him... But anyways, he's unique, so that makes him to my favorite pick list.

Nyle DiMarco

IMO, I think he is quite exotic looking leh! HAHAHAHAHA!!! Really. And I think he looks a bit like Yoshi Sudarso (YoshiStunts) don't you think? So anyways, what's interesting about Nyle is that he was born deaf. Such an inspiration to many out there. And I really hope he'll go far in this competition. So yea, he's one of my fav this cycle too. HAHAH!

Dustin McNeer

Your typical guy next door. Just like Jeremy Rhomer from Cycle 20. His bright smile will definitely charm most of the girls in the house. I think his look is pretty clean and lean, that's why I pick him the top few that I'm rooting for.

Lacey Rogers

Enough of the boys, now lets move on to the girls. Lacey is definitely the one to look out for. I love love love her dark hair and jawlines! I'm in love with her look!!! I hope she make it to the top cuz she's on the top of my favorites!!! And here's her doing my all time favorite back shouler facing the camera look. HAHAHAHA!!! ♥

Ava Capra

I LOVE GIRLS WITH SHORT HAIR!!! I mean, it takes a lot of effort for girls to work a short hair imo... I think that's why she stands out from all the girls for me. Let's see how far can Ava go in this competition. ^.^


Now that's all my top picks for this cycle. Who's your favorite? Who are you rooting for? Oh and did I mention? For this cycle, its all about the judges. There's no longer any social media score for this cycle!!! Not sure is it a good or bad thing. But we'll see. :)



Till the next spoiler/post. America's Next Top Model Cycle 22 will be premiering on 5th August 2015, Wednesday. U.S timing, So it's 6th August, Thursday in Asia. Mark your calendars!!!

ANTM Cycle 21 Finale

Finally! After 3 months plus, its the finale of America's Next Top Model. Here you have it, the top 4 for this cycle. Adam, Will, Keith and the top girl Lenox.



Tyra surprised them at their hotel room telling them that they're going to be modeling her own make up collection called "TYRA". She also brought back some familiar faces with her as well. Tyra then told the top 4 that the eliminated models will be helping them to shoot for their commercial.



Here are the teams as follows:

Team Adam: Denzel, Chantelle, Kari and Adam
Team Keith: Mirjana, Shei and Keith
Team Lenox: Matthew, Ben and Lenox
Team Will, Ivy, Raelia and Will






After which, the models are then off to their hair and make up, with Tyra helping them of course.





Later then, they arrived at Lotte World Foodcourt for their shoot. With a surprise guest in the house, Allison Harvard from Cycle 12 and All Stars. The models were all pretty starstruck.




Everyone was still a bit taken aback at how Adam is in the final 4 eventhough he is the most improved contestant in the house.

At the shoot, Keith struggled a little bit and Will too. Will felt pretty self conscious about himself as he was required to do the shoot topless. But thankfully he had Raelia there with him as his pillar of support.





While on the otherhand, the guys were pretty intimidated by Lenox as she's the only girl left and the shoot that they're doing are beauty commercial shoot, and she's doing pretty well too.



After the models are done with the shoot, they had a celebratory dinner at some local restaurant to commemorate journey at top model.



The next day, the models arrive at panel, not knowing that they're going to be having their GUESS shoot.






Halfway through the shoot, Tyra, Kelly and Ms J arrived, telling them that they had been watching their entire shoot since they've stepped into the room. Not knowing what's happening, Tyra then added that they're gonna be eliminated 1 model right now.



After much deliberation, Adam once again got best photo, followed by Will. In the end, it was Lenox and Keith who landed themselves in the bottom 2. And so, Lenox was the one that got eliminated.






ON EPISODE 15 PART 2
So it was down to the final 3 guys to stomp to their death on the final runway. After which, the judges are gonna critic on their full body of work throughout the cycle. Before their runway show, they had a preview of the 3 guys doing their Nylon shoot.






At the final runway show, they had 2NE1 performing their hit song "Crush" before Jourdan Miller, winner of Cycle 20 opening the runway show.





After the runway show. the guys arrived at panel, and the fight was so close. It's down to the last 3 guys. Tyra announced the first guy that is not America's Next Top Model, and that person is Adam.




Okay. Now it's down to the final 2. Will or Keith. I shall not spoil you guys. Just go on and watch the show. Hahah! Here's the scoreboard of episode 15 part 1 and episode 15 part 1 and 2 of America's Next Top Model Cycle 21.





Alright, I guess that's it. I've come to the end for blogging about America's Next Top Model. I still can't believe I've been diligently blogging about this show for the whole of this cycle. Even though it takes up a lot of my time, but I really enjoyed blogging about this. Let's hope I can do this for the next cycle as well. Haha! Till next cycle~ ♥

ANTM Cycle 21 Episode 14

It is down to the final 5, and things are starting to get real serious now. Even the slightest slip will send anyone home. So last week at panel, Chantelle was eliminated. The remaining models were elated that Chantelle was cut from the competition. Now the remaining 5 are more of supportive to one another rather than being competitive and such.





So one morning, Ms J came by to their hotel room to tell them what's in line for them for their challenge. The models are gonna be part of a Korean Soap Opera, which is a popular Korean Series among the young and old. Ms J also added that some of their lines are in Korean words, which made it even more difficult for the models to memorize.








As the models are preparing and memorizing their lines, Adam on the other hand was full of confidence that he'll be able to do well for the challenge. So confident that he only practiced for 20mins while the rest fully utilizes their time.



Next up, the models arrived at their challenge location at Namsan Tower. Where they meet Korean actor and actress, Jong Hoon and Clara from Emergency Couple.




At the challenge, everyone did pretty badly, it's either they're too stiff or they had trouble pronouncing the Korean words. Will had no trouble conversing in Korean languages. Just that, he had trouble showing emotions towards girls. As for Shei and Lenox, they had difficulty memorizing the Korean words. Adam on the other hand thought he would nail this, but later did he know that he blanked out and screwed his whole challenge. Keith did slightly better by using his own "tactics"...

Turns out, Keith was the challenge winner. Which took everyone by surprise.








Back at home, the models see their challenge score, turns out Lenox got the lowest among the 5 of them. She got a 6, which she was really disappointed about. Shei on the other hand was the one that's the most pissed. Once again, she got 2nd on a challenge which she felt that she should be the one that wins.




The models arrived at the heart of Seoul, Gangnam where its the location for their photoshoot. This time round, the theme for them is to embody iconic legends, Marilyn Monroe (for girls) as for the guys, its Elvis Presley.




Will, Keith and Shei struggled the most during the shoot. Will had trouble with his movements when he should be having no problem at all. In the end, Tyra had to step out and show him how to move around and finding the angles.

Keith had a tough time at the shoot as well, he had Tyra coming out to him to direct him over and over again, which had Yutsai screaming at him.





Adam on the other hand impressed both Tyra and Yutsai at the shoot. He moved around and got his shot again and again and again. And he entertained the crowd with his strong movements.



Down to the final 5, at panel. The judges critic the models pictures and somehow, Lenox and and Shei were the 2 that didn't really impress the judges. Tyra liked Shei's pictures, but Kelly and Ms J begs to defer.

All 3 judges loved Adam's photo and so this week, he was the one that got first call out.




And as it turns out, Shei and Lenox landed themselves in the bottom 2. Seems like this cycle is in the guys favor. All 3 guys were called and only 2 girls were left. In the end, it was Shei that got cut from this competition.




Now Lenox is the last girl standing, and next week will be the last episode for this cycle already. Time passes real fast, and it's down to the final 4. Who do you think will take home the title of America's Next Top Model?
