My First Ever Yacht Experience

Hello everyone!!! So recently I've attended another TIN Boost, which happens every month, where bloggers from The Influencer Network gather together and mingle with one another.

Met up with Celine at Vivo City before cabbing to Sentosa, and while we're waiting for a cab, we saw Hong Peng and Karen.

This time round, the TIN Boost is held at ONE°15 Marina Club at Sentosa Cove. The people from White Sails are kind enough to sponsor us a yacht for our TIN Boost party! Not forgetting Ohs Farm as well for the yummilicious food. :)

So for this post is kinda different as you can see, I've did a scrapbook-ish kinda picture specially for this post because I sorta think that it fits the scrapbook-ish kind of feel??? Hahahahaha!

A "Beary" Good Reason

[17th Jun 2014, Tuesday]

So on Tuesday, it was a very special day where Domino's, together with The Influencer Network, also known as TIN in short, held their event to commemorate the launch of Domino's limited edition Bola Bear collectibles.



The event was held at 31 A Scotts Road, Colonial @ Scotts. I had quite a difficult time finding the place though, but nevertheless, I manage to made it on time.

Saw quite a few familiar faces over there, and the first person I saw was Michelle.C! FAN BOY MODE!!! Didn't hesitate to ask her for a photo. Hahaha!!!

The place was filled with bloggers, and also BALLOOONS!!! So without further ado, the emcee began introducing himself and the highlight of the event, and that there's this Instagram #BOLABEAR contest. The person with the most likes will walk away with:

1st Prize: Go-Pro Camera
2nd Prize: Fuji Film Instax Camera
3rd Prize: Samsung Digital Camera with Wifi capabilities

So yeap! Everyone started instagraming away~ Except for me... Cuz I know I won't win. Hahaha!



SO ANYWAYS
After that, the emcee announce that they're gonna have a stage game, 3 teams of 3 will go up the stage and get their photo taken by the photographer once, and only once, then the group with the loudest clap wins the limited edition Bola Bears!!! So the lucky me got called up the stage, together with Darren and Shaun, and guess what? WE WON!!! Hahaha!!!



After the stage activity, the marketing manager of Domino's told us that each and everyone of us will be walking away with a Bola Bear collectibles!!! YAY! I CAN HAZ 2 BOLA BEARS!!!



After that it was group photo, but I didn't manage to get any photos taken because everyone is snapping photos with their camera. SIGHSS! T.T



So after that, the marketing manager began explaining little bit about Domino's pizza and also the Bola Bear launch.

So next, the moment that everyone had been waiting for. THE FOOD!!! It's free and easy, so everyone just helped themselves with the food. I really love their Napolitana Meatballs! ITS DAMN AWESOME!!!









I ABSOLUTELY LOVEEEE THEIR DRUMPLETS! It's like a MUST HAVE whenever I eat Domino's!!! And how can I forget about their Chocolate Lava Cake! It's everyone's ultimate favorite from Domino's Pizza!!!



So after much fun chatting and eating, its time to announce the top 3 winners for the #BOLABEAR Instagram contest.

So for 3rd Prize, the winner is: @Hpility, with 262 likes.

2nd Prize, we have Vivian, @Xchubbikitty with 283 likes.

and now, for first prize, the person with the most likes, and Angie was like saying confirm is him confirm is him. Hahahah! That person is non other than...... Ben, with 300 over likes, P/S: This one the photo a bit blur, so I couldn't see the exact figure of his likes, but well, at least his is real numbers. Just saying.

Like how I tweeted yesterday, yes he is funny, I like his entertainment value but then again, insulting someone so that you can make others laugh isn't cool yo! Insulting people, making them lose face on stage is just not right, I mean, yea you make others laugh, but do you know how the person that is being made a laughing stock feel?

How inconsiderate!!!

SO ANYWAYS.
The day ended with more selfies and photo taking. I'm glad to see everyone together at one event, and I finally get to take photos with Darren and Ben! :D

Not forgetting Michelle. TSKTSK!!! And I have to apologize to Tselyn cuz I didn't take any photos with her. :/

    
Lastly, this person that I have to thank. Thank you so much for being there with me throughout the event, without you I think I'll have to start singing to ALONE already. So yeap! A big thank you to MyApplePai! So much loveeeeeeeee!

Vellus X TIN Boost

Went back to Vellus to get my hair fix again! Thank god I book my appointment in advance cuz Josie is really really busy nowadays.

So like the usual, Josie bleached my roots and did her magic on my hair! This time round I wanted something different but with a little bit same as the previous. So Josie suggested blue and she did the same Grey/Ash Grey for me at the front.

VOILA!!!

Really love the end results of my hair! In fact, I've always love how Josie does my hair!!!
After a few washes, the grey got soaked with the blue dye, and thereafter it became a bit blue-ish grey.  It's like everytime I wash my hair, I get a new color! Lololol!!!



Went back home to wash up and change another set of clothes for TIN Boost event in the evening. Cab down because I was super late and I was welcome by TIN people and of course, their resident dog Changi!!!





So glad to see many familiar faces over at the event! Here's 2 selfie with Cheryl and Joey!!! Didn't manage to take photos with the rest because I was too lazy to take my camera out from my bag.... :(((

Special shoutout to le awesome Joey!!! Cuz I was asking her to come over for the event (not thinking that she would come) and she actually did!!! Such a awesome friend!!! ^.^y

OHYAH! Recently, I took part in TIN's Blog & Win contest and I manage to get 2nd!!! YES! IKR! 2nd again!!! But like what my friends have said, 2nd is always better than nothing. So yeap! :)

At the event, my prize was presented to me by the founder of TIN Dennis aka Mr Dennis. At times I got so confused as to whether to call him Dennis or Mr Dennis, because if you guys don't know, Mr Dennis was my year 2 Marketing tutor for certain modules and my Year 1 Marketing Fundamentals lecturer. So yea #TheAwkwardMomentz

"I Love Being A Blogger"

After much deliberation, I've decided to take part in this contest. Not because I really want to win, but because I thought of sharing some of the experience of my life as a blogger. But technically I wouldn't really call myself as a blogger la, more of like a guy with a online journal (BLOG)??!!! Hahahaha!

Okay, back to topic. I wouldn't really say I love being a blogger, more of like, I LIKE BEING A BLOGGER! You know you know???!!!! The difference between "LOVE" and "LIKE"...

I Love Being A Blogger = 我爱 Being A Blogger 

I Like Being A Blogger = 我喜欢 Being A Blogger

I'm more of like 喜欢 being a blogger as compared to 我爱, because I get some perks that not many normal people would get! Love is just to deep for me. Hahahaha!

To be honest, I'm a on and off "blogger" that has been blogging for quite some time already. In the past, I would only blog if there is contests or movie premiere's that requires us to blog about it. But now, I would update this little space of mine as much as I can...

I think its more of passion that keeps me going I guess???

Now to get things started, I'm going to be sharing 5 reasons, why I like being a blogger!!! :D




I wouldn't deny the fact that bloggers do actually get perks/freebies/goodies, whichever you call it. 

That's because bloggers are considered as part of the media, like journalists or reporter. They're there to cover events to get the latest news first hand and then share it with their readers. People often mistaken bloggers as beggars because there are some that really spoils the market, but I shall not go too detailed into this.




The thing about blogging is that it gives me exposure and also having to gain knowledge from other bloggers.

Take me for instance, I've participated in Cineleisure's Next Online Sensation 2 also known as CNOS last year and I've gained so much exposure and knowledge from the participants and the people around.

The things you learned from one another is priceless, its nothing that money can buy.

Through blogging, I also had the opportunity to appear on Teenage Magazines 2 times, and had my face plastered at a mall around town. YES! This is what blogging gets you!!!




I've also met quite a few people through blogging who comes from different walks of life. Some I even follow their social media accounts even till date.

Attending events and such through blogging have also widened my network as a person. I mean, the more people you know, the more network you have, the more "lobangs" you get right??!!! Hahahaha!

At first, I didn't even dare to imagine myself having long term friends via blogging. But guess what?!!! I've been blogging for a few years already, and there are really some that I grown pretty close to. Some that are not just "blogger" friends. But we are really friends. REAL FRIENDS. TRUE FRIENDS. Whichever you prefer.

There is this particular group of friends that I've made through blogging and have gone through so much throughout the years, and we've already known each other for like 4 - 5 years already!!!

They're non other than this group of friends that we affectionately call ourselves. "COUSINS*"




We even traveled to Bangkok recently. Who would have thought that I'll be travelling with people that I've met online???!!! Remember when I was a child, my parents' always told me not to talk or meet people online. Hahaha! Thank god I didn't 100% follow what they've said.




Lets rewind the time back to 2009 where this blogging hype just started. Those above are some of the forgotten ones but still kept as memories to me.

I mean they were really the "IN" people back then!!!  Through blogging, I get to attend Nuffnang's very first Asia Pacific Blog Awards held at Pan Pacific Hotel in 2009!!!

That is the time where I get to meet all the super popz bloggers and see them LIVE!!!

Need me to mention Jayden was super uber talented?!!! I was fanboying him back then (actually even now la) Hahaha!

This was the video that he and his team produced for Nuffnang's Blog Awards video contest, and they manage to clinched first prize and walk away with $5000!!!

In case it gets boring at the beginning, fast-forward to 50secs!!!!




And how can I forget about the current celebrity bloggers?!!!

Manage to rub shoulders and got complemented by QiuQiu! I was on cloud nine back then! Hahaha! She even mention that she love the Harlem Shake video that me and some of the CNOS2 contestants did for one of our challenge. #AchievementUnlocked
