Vellus X TIN Boost

Went back to Vellus to get my hair fix again! Thank god I book my appointment in advance cuz Josie is really really busy nowadays.

So like the usual, Josie bleached my roots and did her magic on my hair! This time round I wanted something different but with a little bit same as the previous. So Josie suggested blue and she did the same Grey/Ash Grey for me at the front.

VOILA!!!

Really love the end results of my hair! In fact, I've always love how Josie does my hair!!!
After a few washes, the grey got soaked with the blue dye, and thereafter it became a bit blue-ish grey.  It's like everytime I wash my hair, I get a new color! Lololol!!!



Went back home to wash up and change another set of clothes for TIN Boost event in the evening. Cab down because I was super late and I was welcome by TIN people and of course, their resident dog Changi!!!





So glad to see many familiar faces over at the event! Here's 2 selfie with Cheryl and Joey!!! Didn't manage to take photos with the rest because I was too lazy to take my camera out from my bag.... :(((

OHYAH! Recently, I took part in TIN's Blog & Win contest and I manage to get 2nd!!! YES! IKR! 2nd again!!! But like what my friends have said, 2nd is always better than nothing. So yeap! :)

At the event, my prize was presented to me by the founder of TIN Dennis aka Mr Dennis. At times I got so confused as to whether to call him Dennis or Mr Dennis, because if you guys don't know, Mr Dennis was my year 2 Marketing tutor for certain modules and my Year 1 Marketing Fundamentals lecturer. So yea #TheAwkwardMomentz

Donn & The 5 Girls

[Saturday, 15th March 2014]

Met up with ma' girls to celebrate Mellysa's birthday in advance. I still can't believe how we all became friends, cuz I didn't expect to have any REAL friends in Polytechnic. (Que's ANTM; I'm not here to make friends!!!)



SO ANYWAYS!
We were supposed to be meeting at 11;45am but end up some of us were late. Teehee! Luckily Jiayu managed to reserve seats in advance!!! YAY US!

Actually it was supposed to be a surprise for Mellysa, but..... HAHAAHAH! One of us let the cat out of the bag!!!

Waited for everyone to come and off we go to get our fooooooood~~~

So after we had our filling buffet, we then ask Mellysa to follow some of us to get Ice-Cream, fruits and etc for all of us. (ACTUALLY WE END UP NOT EATING MOST OF IT CAUSE WE'RE ALL REALLY REALLY FULL)

And when Mellysa came back, we surprise her with the cupcakes that we've been trying to hide from her sight from the moment she stepped into the restaurant! Hahaha!



Took one last photo (on the escalator) before Celeste left off as she's not feeling too good. I think it's time to have a group/band name for ourselves (this clique) already, and I've thought of a name liao, lets call ourselves *Donn & The NINETYFIVES*!!! Or maybe *Donn & The 5 GIrls*??!!! Sounds good yea???



P/S: Sometimes I can't help but to feel impressed with my capability to take selfies at anywhere and everywhere! Hahaha!

After that, we went around town shopping, and Mooi Suen had to left early for "family meeting" so left with Me, Mellysa, Jiayu and ThatAppleCandies.

Initially we wanted to catch a movie, but then its only left with the 1st row, so nope!!! We went on shopping instead, and after that we chilled at Coffee Bean. ♥ their Mocha Ice blend.

Went around shopping after we've rested enough. Took train to Dhoby Ghaut and had 4 fingers for dinner. At that point, I can feel my throat screaming for help!!! (Cause I was already feeling a tad unwell...)



So the day ended, and I was walking to the bus stop, and guess who I saw???? MY LONG LOST BBF!!! ♥

House Visiting @ Yongqin's & Jiayu's

Day 9 of Chinese Lunar New Year.
Visited Yongqin's house for the first time and we had steamboat! Sort of like a "reunion" dinner for us! Hahaha!



Look at the amount of food on the table! We ate so much that we couldn't move after that! Yongqin's mum was super generous and funny! Hahahah!



Played a little bit of blackjack aka "Ban Luck", was on a winning streak but the rest had to call it off cause we were about to get ready to go to Jiayu's house next! DAYUM!!!

Headed to Jiayu's house after that. Did a little pre celebration for Yongqin's 19th birthday! WTF?!!! That was the age when I met/knew them in year 1 of my Polytechnic life!!! T.T

Yongqin was given tasks to do before she was given a clue to the next present that was hidden in Jiayu's house! Kudos to Mellysa and Jiayu for planning it and also Mooi Suen and BF for buying the cake! ^.^

I will definitely not forget about the guessing of my undergarment part! TSKTSK!!!

Then, we had round 2 of steamboat after the taxing missions that Yongqin had to do! Hahaha!

I CAN HAZ NAMECARDS TOO!

Never did I thought I'll be doing any name cards, what's more it's for my blog! Hahaha!!!
I've also asked myself this many times. "WHY DO I NEED TO DO NAME CARDS?"

Well, I've been attending events and such, and when PR's gave me their name cards, I would "paiseh-ly" tell them that I currently do not have any name cards to give. So yeap!

After much considerations, I've finally did my very own name card courtesy to my blogskin designer! Hehh! ^.^

Actually, I did my name card more than 3 months ago, just that I didn't had the time to do a blog post about it. XP



I really liked it! As in the design of my name card! But I have friends telling me that the font clashes and its a tad small for a name card.

What do you guys think? :)

Hair

I know I know!!! The title sounds so awkward with just one word, but I just couldn't find any other good titles that fits to this post that I'm about to write.

So yeap! Today I'm gonna be talking about my hair. I personally feel that my hair stands out from most of my friends, because I love to dye crazy hair colors ever since the start of this year. Hahaha!

Throughout my whole hair experience, I didn't have any particular salon that I got get my hair job done. So at first when I dyed my hair, I wanted to choose a very safe color, something that doesn't make me look like a freak when I walk out of my house. So I chose a reddish brown kind of color, and it also looks kinda good on me. :D



That was during the month of March 2013, where it was one of the tedious month I ever experience, because it was the period whereby I took part in this annual blogging competition held by Cathay Orchard Cineleisure.

During the competition, I feel the need to change my image so as to make myself stand out more. Therefore I decided to go for more bold colors, eventhough some of my friends say it doens't suit me, but I still went for it, and the color is....

Blondeee!! Hahaha! I bleached 2 times to get this result because when I first dyed my hair to the reddish brown color, I had to bleach it once in order to let the color sticks to my hair, because previously I kept dyeing black and it results to having super DARK colored hair, therefore I have to bleach it once to remove the black color and then apply to reddish brown color.

For them to remove the reddish brown they had to bleach it TWICE, and I think that sort of damaged my scalp a little??? Hahahaha! Well, maybe not that little.

After the competition, I WON! YAY ME! It sort of like given me the attention of the crowd and some PR's I guess? And thanks to Tiffany Yong, she intro-ed my to Show Image, which was formerly known as Claire's Hair Spa for a sponsored review.

So I can get to choose a hair color that I like and also to do a review on the hair salon, so I picked another color that is quite striking...



LILAC ASH GREY!
Its Ash Grey base with Lilac color on top. But the color soon faded to Ash Grey, because I have a habit of washing my hair twice a day! Hahaha! So it sort of wash off the hair color quickly.

AND IT TURNS OUT NICER! HAHAHAHA!


Okay! The above picture is not doing any justice, but you sort of see the ash grey color la. LOL!
Then soon, after a few wash again, it faded off to blonde (again). Hahaha!




AFTER THAT
I thought to myself, I wanna dye some other colors, some colors that I've never done before yet stands out from the crowd. Guess what color I did next?



YESSSS! STRIKING HOT RED/PINK
It was the most outstanding color I could think of, hahaha! AND AGAIN! It faded after a few washes again! I don't know why, everytime my hair color fades, it became nicer! Alot of people have been commenting saying my hair color is nicer when faded. Hahaha!

Soon after, it faded back to blonde again...



I kept this hair color of mine till yesterday, and it became the following color which I'm about to show you guys. I decided to go for a haircut and hair dye yesterday because I feel that my hair is VERY long already and many of my friends have asked me to go for a haircut. So yeap.

 
It became blonde but with brown highlights and some black roots of course! Hahaha! It turned out quite nice I guess? But after much consideration, I've decided to go a haircut and hair dye because I'll be flying to Taiwan at end of September, and I want to have a nice hair for all my photos. Hahaha! So I thought, why not get a haircut earlier and when its time for my Taiwan trip, my hair will grow to a length that is "LOOK-able"...
GUESS WHAT COLOR I DID NEXT?!!!


After I got my haircut, I find that my face looked even rounder!!! I really can't wait for it to grow back to the length it used to be...
Anyways! I dyed Ash Brown this time round, because I still had abit of blonde left on my hair, so the ash brown could get up to my hair, only at certain areas. As for the rest, like my brown and black hair colors faded from the previous hair, it only managed to get 50% of the Ash Brown color, so technically, my hair have like highlights in certain areas as well. Its looking like in different shades of brown. AND I LOVE IT!  

Here are somemore selfies I took with my new hair! Hahaha! My friends have told me that I look like I'm 16 all over again with this new short haircut! Hahaha! Okay, I was happy when they said that! Cuz I love looking young! (WHO LOVES LOOKING OLD?!!!)

Hahaha! Here are just some tips for you guys who are considering to bleach your hair, to me, I bleached my hair twice at first, and it stings abit. But overall its still bearable, just that when its done, it hurts a little bit. :)

ANDANDAND
Alot of people have asked me how do I maintain my hair after dyeing and bleaching it so many times, well, I also did treatments when I dyed my hair, as for keeping if healthy?? I wash my hair everyday, haha! That's why the color of my hair fades off very fast, because I keep washing my hair.

I don't know why? If I never wash my hair for one day I'll just feel super gross and dirty! Hahaha! OCD!!!

Now I'm still thinking what color should I do next? Electric Blue? Hahaha! I've told alot of my friend that I wanted to dye Electric Blue but they told me not to! Hahahaha! We shall wait and see I guess? Till my hair grows longer la that is.

What's Blogging To You?

To me blogging is just bringing writing a diary to a whole new level. Like with blogs, I can now post not only words but pictures and videos online as well. Sharing it with my friends and stuff.

But recently

If you guys have followed my blog, I recently decided to take blogging a little more seriously after winning Cineleisure's Next Online Sensation version 2.0 back at the month of March 2013 as the 1st Runner Up.

It's kinda depressing when you feel that you're the most useless among the winners and that you have to work twice or even ten times harder than the rest in order to keep up with the pace. Also, when you see that the results was not what the effort you've put in, you tend to get pretty annoyed as well. Like! Why am I getting such results when I've put in so much effort in whatever I do? Am I really that bad?!!! That's what I've always asked myself...

Recently

I've also been getting sponsorships for hair and nails and etc. As much as I would love to get many sponsorships, there are times whereby I feel that this little blog of mine can't really do much into helping the sponsors gaining their business, so why be thick skinned and go ask them for longterm sponsorships? It's like, they don't really gain anything from my blog, do they?

Adding on

Recently, my sis friend wanted to sponsor me her product *Herbal Life*, which will kinda help me in losing weight, I REJECTED IT!, partly because I don't think my blog will help much in promoting her product, and also, it requires commitment, and I don't think I'm someone who can be committed in losing weights. So yea. I'm sorry.... :'(
