Ah Boys To Men 3; Frogmen

Recently I was invited to attend Ah Boys To Men 3; Frogmen gala premiere at Shaw Lido, kudos to Safra.

Before they begin showing the movie, the was a special appearance from the cast of Ah Boys To Men 3 and also director Jack Neo to give the audience a brief intro of what to expect for the movie.




There's a slight twist to this 3rd installment. This time round, its filled with humor and emotions. And I can say it was over my expectations and even my friend that went for the premiere with me also agree with what i said.

I shall not spoil too much for you. The movie will be out on 19th Feb 2015 but tickets is already available for booking. I can guarantee you won't be disappointed. ^.^

The Mockingjay Part 1

Hi there. I'm sure many of us are getting hyped with the upcoming movie - The Mockingjay Part 1 am I right?! Well I sure am!

A few days ago, I received an invite from The Cathay to attend the gala premiere of The Mockingjay Part 1! I was soooo stoked and I just can't stop smiling when I receive that email. Hahah!

So yesterday was the premiere, and I asked Andy along. We met around 7pm and had dinner at Concetto before the movie.

So while waiting for our dinner to be served, I went up to collect the tickets first just so we could go right in after that.

Before we go into the theater we would need to surrender all our electronic devices because well... It's a gala premier and they're afraid that we might record it and post it online before its even out in the cinemas???

OKAY NOW!

THE MOVIE REVIEW

So if you remember at The Catching Fire, Katniss shot an arrow at the force field and caused an explosion in the midst of The Hunger Games, and she was rescued without Peeta and some of the other victors.

So Katniss woke up and realizes that Peeta was not around and she started panicking. She went back to district 12 to have a look at what the Capitol have did and she was in complete shock. 

I shall not share too much about the movie for now, all I can say is, the movie is about 2 hours long, but when you're watching it feels rather short. Kinda draggy at some part of the scenes but I guess its the building up for The Mockingjay Part 2? Haha!

Well, there's also some intense scene that you can look forward to.

After the movie, we went down to collect our stuff that we surrendered and camwhore a bit with the cnos peeps. Really really miss all of them, felt like a reunion that day. Haha!

The Mockingjay Part 1 will be out in the cinemas tomorrow (20th November 2014). You have to catch it you're a huge fan of The Hunger Games. Or Peeta like how @Natalieoyq is. #MajorFanGirlAlert

Hercules The Legend Begins

[8th January 2014]



Went for the movie premiere for Hercules The Legend Begins at Cineleisure. At first, I didn't know what to expect from the movie because, I've never really heard about it before.

So for those who have no idea what the movie is about? Lets just watch the trailer first shall we?



If you still have no idea what the movie is about after watching the movie, no worries, cuz I don't either! Hahahaha! KIDDDING!!!

So anyways, let me sum up for you. King Amphitryon had been a selfish ruler of his own throne/kingdom where one day, Queen Alcmene could not tolerate anymore and decided to put this to an end by succumbing to the lust of Zeus to bear a son, promised to overthrow the tyrannical rule of King Amphitryon in order to restore peace to a land in hardship.

Queen Alcmene had 2 sons, 1 is Hercules and the other is Iphicles. Both of them are in love with Princess Hebe, princess of Crete, but the princess was only in love with Hercules and no one else.

After knowing Hercules isn't his own son, Amphitryon then killed Alcmene and go all out to get Hercules killed.

Yeap! That's all I can say, you guys have to watch the movie to know the whole story! Hahaha! For me, the plot was alright I guess, to some, its quite bad. Some of the scenes are pretty computerized. IMO.


I would recommend you to watch it during weekdays instead of weekends though. Worth the $7 - $9 ticket price, but definitely not worth the $10 - $11 and above. Just my 2cents la! Hahah! If you guys are huge Greek Mythology kind of thing, then this movie would prolly be the one you would want to watch.

Giant Minion Invasion & Despicable Me 2 Movie Premiere!

I know from the title this post might seem super duper long! But no worries, I'll try to keep it short! Hahah!

So being part of a CNOS blogger, I was given the privilege to witness the set up of the giant minion invasion over at The Cathay before everyone else!!! What's more! Its the ONE AND ONLY GIANT MINION BLOWUP IN SINGAPORE!!!

(Psss! They're still heading to some other place) But read on to find out where at the later part of the post!

All the setting up (excluding the cardboards) of the giant blow up minion comes from this red bag! I wonder how they mange to fit everything in!!!

So while the crew are busy setting up the blow up minion! Me and Joey were busy...... Camwhoring! Hahaha!

In the meantime, I also did a video. Just to give you guys a "live" view of how its being setup.



After they're done with the setting up of the giant blowup! Its time to set up the minion cardboards!

DESPICABLE ME MOVIE PREMIERE!

Went for Despicable Me 2 movie premiere thanks to Cineleisure and The Cathay! :D

Natalie was there at the premiere as well! Joey too! But didn't manage to take a picture with her...

THE REVIEW!



If you think the first one was good! Despicable Me 2 is EVEN BETTER! Don't worry if you have never watched Despicable me 1, because its not a continuous sequel of it!

Eventhough the main reason that why people watch Despicable Me is because of the Minions, but they still keep GRU (the main character) as the highlight of this movie!

WHAT'S MORE!

This time round, the minions are even cuter and funnier than before!



In Despicable Me 2! GRU finally found his true love, and also letting go his fear of confessing to girls! Hahah! Shall not go too in depth! If you want to know more, go watch the movie!

NOT FORGETTING!
