Vellus Hair Studio

Head on down to Vellus Hair Studio, located at Tanjong Pagar. I will list the details on how to get there at the later part of this post, meanwhile, here's what happened on my visit to Vellus Hair Studio.

Vellus hair Studio is located at 2nd level of one of the shop houses. Once you climb up the stairs you will find yourself here.



Discussed with Josie before on what kind of hair color should I do, and we both agreed on one, that is rarely seen around in Singapore.

There's a waiting area for customers to seat while waiting for their turn, there's also magazines to keep you occupied! :D

 
Then here is the hallway where it leads to the private rooms, where you will get to enjoy your own personal space while getting your hair done! :D

After Josie is done with the customer before me, she then bring me to the private room, where I CAN HAZ EVERYTHING TO MYSEFL! MUAHAHAHAHA!

OHYAH! Did I mention that the chair is adjustable to your liking?! Now you can have your hair done in your own private room and also to your own comfort! Its like living the life of a TaiTai!!!



At Vellus hair Studio, they also offer drinks as well, ranging from Mocha, Coke, Tea and etc. I choose coke cuz... I'm a fan of Coke okay!!! Haha!



First, to get the color that I'm doing, I would need to bleach my hair, Josie applied the Chemical Scalp Protection on my scalp so that I when she's bleaching my hair, it won't sting so much.



Here's after round 1 of bleaching! There's still a bit of red dye on my hair that refuses to come off, so Josie went on to bleach my hair for the 2nd time.



After 2nd round of bleaching there's still some red color on corners of my hair, just a slight info, if your hair color is red, it will be slightly more harder to bleach it off cuz.... Red is a strong color.

But Josie was thoughtful enough, cuz if I were to continue bleaching my whole head, my hair will fall off, so she just bleach those part with the red dye.

AHHHHH! How I miss my blonde hair! Followed next, Josie applied the color that is going to be on my hair! YAY!
Josie really put all her effort into doing my hair lor! She's like so focused and all.



Looking at the colors is a bit intimidating, cuz I've never done such striking colors before. Hahaha! But I'm really excited to see the final outcome of my hair! ^.^

Really love the gradient of my hair! At first look I'm not really used to it, but now I'm slowly loving it! Its my first time doing such striking colors!

NOW HERE'S HOW YOU CAN GET TO VELLUS HAIR STUDIO.
First you alight at Tanjong Pagar Train Station. Then you walk to exit A, go all the way up from the escalator.



After you've gone all the way up from the escalator, turn right and follow the path.



Then when you've walked out of the street, cross over and walk towards the blue building (Orchid Hotel).





After you've reached the blue building (Orchid Hotel), walk straight and turn left when you've reach the end of the pathway.



Then walk straight till you see this building, just keep walking straight till you see Vellus Hair Studio. The following pictures will tell you how to get there.

YESSSS! I was so stoked when I received an email invitation from Elgena (Marketing Executive) of Sure Group to head down to Sas.sy Hair Studio to try out their hair services.

Head down to Sas.sy Hair Studio to get my ugly hair fixed.

Initially I felt abit paiseh and such, but the friendly hairstylists initiate conversations with me and that made me feel less intense. Hahah! DAYUM! I Didn't ask for their names!

ME GETTING READY FOR MY MAKEOVER! 

FEELS LIKE AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL!!! HAHAH!

Before I had my hair done, they asked me which color would I like, and I chose something that its striking yet not that boring! Hahaha! Then the hairstylists gave me suggestions to which color and combination suits my hair color. OHYAH! Other than hair coloring, I also had highlights as well.

SO AFTER SELECTING THE COLORS I WANT

They started bleaching my blackroots first.

I was told by Elgena that the products they use does not contain harmful chemicals such as Ammonia and Sulphate.

After getting my hair bleached and washed, my hair turned slightly lighter than my original hair color. Then they started applying highlights and hair coloring on my hair.

THE END PRODUCT!!!

I LOVE IT!!!
Hahaha! I got my hair trimmed too. Now how can I not take a photo with the hairstylists that did my hair! :D




There's 1 more that helped me bleached my hair though, he was busy with other customers so I didn't get the chance to take with him, not forgetting that I didn't ask for both their names! #StupidMe

OHYAH! I left quite abruptly that I forgot to take a photo with the Winson, the Creative Director for Sas.sy Hair Studio, but I manage to get his namecard!!! ^.^

What's Blogging To You?

To me blogging is just bringing writing a diary to a whole new level. Like with blogs, I can now post not only words but pictures and videos online as well. Sharing it with my friends and stuff.

But recently

If you guys have followed my blog, I recently decided to take blogging a little more seriously after winning Cineleisure's Next Online Sensation version 2.0 back at the month of March 2013 as the 1st Runner Up.



Here's me and the ever adorable and blubbly QiuQiu aka BongQiuQiu!



It's kinda depressing when you feel that you're the most useless among the winners and that you have to work twice or even ten times harder than the rest in order to keep up with the pace. Also, when you see that the results was not what the effort you've put in, you tend to get pretty annoyed as well. Like! Why am I getting such results when I've put in so much effort in whatever I do? Am I really that bad?!!! That's what I've always asked myself...

Recently

I've also been getting sponsorships for hair and nails and etc. As much as I would love to get many sponsorships, there are times whereby I feel that this little blog of mine can't really do much into helping the sponsors gaining their business, so why be thick skinned and go ask them for longterm sponsorships? It's like, they don't really gain anything from my blog, do they?

Adding on

Recently, my sis friend wanted to sponsor me her product *Herbal Life*, which will kinda help me in losing weight, I REJECTED IT!, partly because I don't think my blog will help much in promoting her product, and also, it requires commitment, and I don't think I'm someone who can be committed in losing weights. So yea. I'm sorry.... :'(
