CNOS 2 Dining at Eighteen Chefs

Had a private dining over at Eighteen Chefs, Cineleisure with the CNOS 2 bloggers!

When we first reached Eighteen Chefs, we were warmly welcome by Chef Benny, the founder of Eighteen Chefs.

Here's a brief background about Chef Benny himself

Chef Benny founded Eighteen Chefs, 53 years old (currently), he's a social enterprise which employs and trains delinquents, drug offenders in 2007.

Chef Benny was a former drug addict, but turned his life around and became the FIRST SINGAPOREAN TO BE TRAINED AT JAMIE OLIVER'S RESTAURANT!

Through imparting culinary skills, Chef Benny hopes to inspire youths at risk to find alternative and positive ways of integrating into the society.

Here's Chef Benny, introducing and talking to us about his mission, purpose and goals of Eighteen Chefs.

First up! We had their Homemade Ice/Warm Lemon Tea! Its damn awesome I tell you! There was once I went to dine at Eighteen Chefs, and they happen to gave me an extra cup of Ice Lemon Tea, I told them I didn't order it, but they just gave it to WITHOUT CHARGING ME! How awesome?!!!

We also had 64 Degrees Egg, and Garlic Bread (which is literally garlic + bbread), I think the reason why they do it this way is because some people don't take garlic, so as to put them at aside, so when customers who wants to eat with the garlic can just dip it with the bread! Hahah!

We also had Chef Benny's in house specialty as well! The Heart Attack Fried Rice! It is cooked with 400grams of New York steak (for 2 person), as for the dark sauce, it is dedicated for Chef Benny's late mom who passed away.

You can also order the one for 1 person, which consist of 200gram of New York Steak! :D

Trust me! Its a must try when you dine at Eighteen Chefs! Its like having orgasms when you put it in your mouth!!!

After having the maincourse! Its time for desserts!!!

Eighteen Chefs also have their student promotions currently! Which you get to choose your own ingredients you want for your Baked Rice or Pasta at the price of $6.40!!! (prices subjected to gst charges)

WHAT'S MORE?! YOU GET A COMPLIMENTARY ICE CREAM AS WELL!!!!

We were also given kitchen tour at Eighteen Chefs! Its definitely an eye opener!

New Blog Design! LIKE A FINALLY!

HELLO THERE!!!!

After the long anticipate! My new blog design is finally done! Thanks to carol! She's really good at web designing and photoshopping! I'm super amazed at her skills of doing so!

I've been blogging for quite some time already, like since 2007?! But its all about my daily rant of my school and stuff! I begin taking blogging seriously ever since CNOS 2! Also known as Cineleisure's Next Online Sensation version 2.0!

Actually

At that point of time, I was letting the competition to decide my fate in blogging! HAHAHAH!

I told myself if I manage to win the top 3, I will continue to update this little blog of mine, maybe to invest a little bit in it, and if I don't, well I'll still continue blogging but maybe not that often. LOL!

AND SO! I WON!!!

I won 2nd actually! Hahah! But that is good enough for me already! Its like a recognition!

I've met so many wonderful people through the competition! Most of us are pretty good friends now, and after getting to know each other, we then realizes some of us actually just stayed a few blocks away from one another! Talking about coincidence! Hahaha!

After then!

Life goes on, and back to normal. Then I feel that there is a need to give my blog a revamp if I want to continue to blog more, as people from everywhere will somehow be coming to my blog, and I want to leave them an impression! So that is when, Damien and I approached Carol, my web designer.

But actually Damien have already approached Carol at the early start of the year, but yea, I'll leave the rest behind. But I really have to thank Damien aka UncleTehPeng for helping me talk to Carol and negotiating the price with her. Thank you so much! :))

After about 3months or so, my blog design is finally done, and it's what you're seeing right now!





Whenever you click refresh on my blog! The header will change! Hahaha! Now even my sidebar has a little hover thingy going on as well! You can try it! Hahaha!

I just love how carol asked for my opinion and such and also knowing what I want! She's really a great web designer! Hahaha!



On my sidebar there's also a contact me button! You can click on it and email me anything under the sun! Events, Reviews, Sponsorships, Collaborations, or anything!!! Just click on the contact me widget and email me. *winkwink* Hahahaha!

Not only that, now that my new blogskin's main page is 800x600 wide, I can haz bigger peektures on my blog nao! YAY ME!!!

Giant Minion Invasion & Despicable Me 2 Movie Premiere!

I know from the title this post might seem super duper long! But no worries, I'll try to keep it short! Hahah!

So being part of a CNOS blogger, I was given the privilege to witness the set up of the giant minion invasion over at The Cathay before everyone else!!! What's more! Its the ONE AND ONLY GIANT MINION BLOWUP IN SINGAPORE!!!

(Psss! They're still heading to some other place) But read on to find out where at the later part of the post!

All the setting up (excluding the cardboards) of the giant blow up minion comes from this red bag! I wonder how they mange to fit everything in!!!

So while the crew are busy setting up the blow up minion! Me and Joey were busy...... Camwhoring! Hahaha!

In the meantime, I also did a video. Just to give you guys a "live" view of how its being setup.



After they're done with the setting up of the giant blowup! Its time to set up the minion cardboards!

You don't get to see this everyday! The instruction sheet of how to build/setup the minion cardboards!

DESPICABLE ME MOVIE PREMIERE!

Went for Despicable Me 2 movie premiere thanks to Cineleisure and The Cathay! :D

Natalie was there at the premiere as well! Joey too! But didn't manage to take a picture with her...

THE REVIEW!



If you think the first one was good! Despicable Me 2 is EVEN BETTER! Don't worry if you have never watched Despicable me 1, because its not a continuous sequel of it!

Eventhough the main reason that why people watch Despicable Me is because of the Minions, but they still keep GRU (the main character) as the highlight of this movie!

WHAT'S MORE!

This time round, the minions are even cuter and funnier than before!



In Despicable Me 2! GRU finally found his true love, and also letting go his fear of confessing to girls! Hahah! Shall not go too in depth! If you want to know more, go watch the movie!

NOT FORGETTING!
